Call for Submission

Aims and Scope:
The Taiwan International ESP Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Taiwan ESP Association. The journal has been listed in TCI-HSS, ACI and Scopus. Its primary objective is to disseminate scholarly information on research and development in the field of English for Specific/ Academic Purposes (ESP/EAP) worldwide, and to bridge between theory
and practice. The journal welcomes year-round submissions and contributions that address the common professional concerns of both researchers and practitioners. It is published biannually — in the middle and at the end of the year.​

TIESPJ welcomes submissions on the following areas of inquiry and development in ESP/EAP:

Manuscript Formats:

● General Research
Articles up to 15000 words that address empirical or conceptual issues on the current ESP/EAP research. Papers submitted to this article type should include the following:

2. Theoretical Background
3. Methodology
4. Results and Discussion
5. Conclusion
● Teaching research
Articles from 10000 to 15000 words that discuss practitioners’ reflections on their current ESP/EAP pedagogical practices. Papers submitted to this article type should include the following:
1. Statement of problem
2. Literature Review
3. Methodology
4. Results and Discussion
5. Pedagogical Implications
